Spiral Bound

Spiral Bound follows a young, heartbroken woman who is summoned by fragments of Sappho’s poetry into a liminal space—the “heartbreak hotel”—where she encounters the nine Ancient Greek Muses. Guided by Sappho, the Muses lead the protagonist through the rooms of the hotel and through her own pain, so she may join the lineage of longing begun long ago.
