Most mornings, you’ll find me crocheting on the NYC subway, turning my commute to school into a creative journey. I like to think I’ve inherited my skills from my Slovakian great-grandmother Zuzana Krivošikova, a talented artisan known for her sewing, lace-making, and crochet mastery. Carrying on her legacy, I pour the same love and dedication into every piece I create.

In her 20s, sometime in the 1940s.

Yep, that's all her work, from sewing and lace work to embroidery.
