This art piece was inspired by the chickens I have in my backyard. This hen however is not a portrait of an actual bird. I added the two purple feathers to hint the mystery and curiosity in a chicken. I feel that chickens are mostly assumed to be unintelligent, void of the deep personalities that these common birds have.
